What is KFC Management Academy?
The KFC Management Academy’s is an internal development program, to build our existing teams leadership knowledge and capability.
The program length varies between 8 to 10 weeks depending on whether you are on the Team Leader, ARGM or RGM academy.
If you are looking to unlock your potential, challenge yourself and climb the leadership ladder this is for you.
All academies have on the job training, specialised workshops, relevant eLearning and are geared to give you the knowledge and skill to succeed.
Should you want to take that next step please speak to your line manager who will talk you through the relevant signing on process
Team Leader - What happens on the academy?
Cohorts - There will be approx. 5 cohorts a year. We will take a break during December due to high sales within stores.
How to apply - RGM identifies talent within the restaurant and nominates candidates or employees can reach out to their RGM and express interest in their development with SFG.
Approval - AC must approve all RGM nominations.
Workload - The KFC Team Leader Academy consists of;
- Successful sign on with Regional Training Leader
- Full attendance to online workshops
- Team Leader eLearning & additional courses completed
- On the job training including shadowed shift runs
- Successful sign offs (announced and unannounced)
ARGM - What happens on the academy?
Cohorts - There will be approx. 4 cohorts a year. We will take a break during December due to high sales within stores.
How to apply - RGM identifies talent within the restaurant and nominates candidates or employees can reach out to their RGM and express interest in their development with SFG.
Approval - AC and RC must approve nomination.
Workload - The KFC ARGM Academy consists of;
- Successful sign on with AC
- Full attendance to online workshops
- ARGM eLearning & additional courses completed
- On the job training
- Critical Experience Project and Individual Development Project
- Successful sign off conducted by two ACs
RGM - What happens on the academy?
Cohorts - There will be 2 cohorts in each region a year. We will take a break during December due to high sales within stores.
How to apply - RGM identifies talent within the restaurant and nominates candidates or employees can reach out to their RGM and express interest in their development with SFG.
Approval - AC and RC must approve nomination.
Workload - The KFC RGM Academy consists of;
- Successful sign on with AC
- Full attendance to online workshops and final face to face workshop
- RGM eLearning & additional courses completed
- On the job training
- Critical Experience Project and Individual Development Project
- Successful sign off conducted by AC and RC
